Adrianne N. Snyder, MA, ATR-BC, LPCC
Board Certified Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Adrianne is passionate about using the arts to help children, adolescents and adults heal. She believes that creativity unlocks the areas of the brain that store grief and trauma. Adrianne offers appropriate, creative materials in a gentle, safe and relaxed environment to help her clients discover meaning and purpose. She believes that people thrive when they are aware of their value. She incorporates a strengths-based approach to counseling and seeks to “come alongside” her clients as they develop their own goals and find their own voice.
Adrianne has experience in working with people from ages 4 thru 94 in various settings from preschools, public schools, community mental health agencies, community grief groups to retirement communities. She is interested in working with people with· whom traditional talk therapy has not been beneficial. Having gone through grief and loss herself and learning how to balance life as a mother to four children, Adrianne has a heart to help others navigate anxiety, grief, loss and trauma. Her passion for the healing arts carries into her role as adjunct professor of graduate students in Ursuline College’s Counseling and Art Therapy Department where she desires to see other young professionals succeed.
Adrianne is excited to join the team at 4 Kid Help because she shares the same, holistic vision for healing.
