Kirsten Conrad, MSN, APRN
Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Kirsten is a board-certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has been working as a registered nurse since 2016. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Akron. She started off in the ICU, then moved to working with adults on an inpatient detox unit. She obtained her master’s degree in nursing from Northern Kentucky University. She began her Nurse Practitioner career working in a rural health clinic in Wooster, Ohio. Kirsten has experience with adolescent and adult psychiatry as a Nurse Practitioner. She is someone that wants to get to know the individual person and their unique story.
Kirsten has always been passionate about helping others. She is a lifelong girl scout, receiving her Girl Scout Gold Award in 2012 for her work with Save Ohio Strays. Kirsten is compassionate, and makes patients feel comfortable from the first visit. She strives to learn something new each day.
Kirsten has always been drawn to mental health, even in undergraduate studies took as many psychiatric classes as possible. Kirsten understands people are more than their diagnoses, and that compassion and listening go a long way to helping others.
